We strive to ensure starting school is a happy and memorable experience for all children.   We invite all new parents to visit our Nursery & Reception class during the term before your child attends our school. You will be able to discuss any worries that you have with us in person.  The children will be given an opportunity to spend an afternoon taster session before they begin school.

Class Information

Just a reminder of general information for pupils in our class:

Morning Session: 9.00am - 11.45am

Afternoon Session: 1.30pm - 3.20pm

School Uniform

Most of the children in the Nursery and Reception class wear uniform as it is practical, hardwearing and most importantly, easy to wash! We also ask that all children wear sensible flat shoes or trainers that they can run about during play outside.

Every week

Every Monday: Please bring in Dinner & Snack Money.

Snack money £1 per week. Every day we give all the Nursery and Reception children a snack of fruit or toast with their milk just before playtime in the morning or afternoon.

Dinner money £12.50 per week. When your child stays all day in school they will be having cooked dinners everyday. The menu provides a variety of nutritional meals. A copy of the menu will be sent home each term as it is regularly updated.

Every Thursday: PE. Please could children come to school in trainer, joggers, t-shirt, tracksuit or sweater (NO JEANS).

Finally, a note on safety and security of children.  Please ensure that your child is brought to school by an adult.  We will not allow a child to go home with anyone other than parents/main carers unless we have been otherwise informed.  And remember, if your child's details change, such as address, emergency telephone number, click here for a blank form which can be printed, completed and handed in to the school office. Thank you.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING  YOU & YOUR CHILD TO OUR SCHOOL!
