Water Bottles: every child needs to have a water bottle in school. These are kept in class during the week and sent home for cleaning on Fridays. Please label bottles clearly.
er BottleMoney: if you would like your child to have fruit during break time there is a cost of £1 a week, due every Monday (or paid weekly/termly if you prefer). Dinner money should be sent in a clearly labelled envelope with your child's name. SNACK MONEY TO BE PUT IN A SEPERATE ENEVELOPE PLEASE.
Please note that ALL MONEY that is for the school (snack/dinner/trip/sponsorship money) must be in a clearly labelled envelope and not handed in loose. Thank you.
Attendance: Children should arrive promptly to start school at 9.00am. If your child has an appointment please let us know in advance. If your child is absent from school for any reason please phone the school on the first day of absence by 9.30am. School finishes at 3.30pm - please collect your child promptly.
Reading Books: Reading sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons so we ask that reading books are returned on this day. In order for your child to make good progress with their reading it is important that we are able to read with them and change their books regularly. When you have listened to your child read please note this in their reading record. If your child does not yet have a reading book regular story time is still important to develop good reading skills.
Personal Items: Please encourage your child to leave all toys and pencil cases at home. We don't allow these in class or on the yard, as they tend to get lost or broken.
Concerns: If you wish to speak to a membr of staff for any reason, please ask to see us at the end of the day. It is important to know of any issues or concerns early so that we can deal with them promptly.
